Established in 1908 with a layout by the notable John Henry Taylor, Selsey Golf Club has a history tied to the coastal village. Originally 9 holes, it was briefly expanded before returning to its current 9-hole configuration with dual tees for an 18-hole experience. The course is a links-style test situated on the Sussex coast, offering views towards the Downs. While not long by modern standards, its design, including some notably challenging Par 4s and a memorable finishing hole with a water hazard, provides a good examination of a golfer's game, often influenced by the coastal wind. There is no indication that Selsey Golf Club has been used as an Open Qualifying location.
