Opened in 1993, Sand Martins Golf Club in Wokingham, England, offers a course with a tale of two halves. The outward nine presents a parkland feel with lakes and doglegs, demanding strategic play. In contrast, the inward nine takes on an inland links character, featuring revetted bunkers and hazards that require precision. The course, designed by Edward Fox and later attributed to Jonathan Gaunt in some sources, plays to a par of 70. The greens are built to USGA specifications, providing consistent putting surfaces. While not a widely recognized top 100 course, Sand Martins has previously been a venue for Open Championship Regional Qualifying.
