Rusper Golf Club
Parkland Course in Dorking, England
Rusper Golf Club, situated in the English countryside of Surrey, offered a pleasant parkland golf experience. Opened in 1992 by Tony Jacklin, the course initially featured 9 holes before being expanded to an 18-hole layout in 2000. Set amongst mature trees with some engaging water features, the course presented a fair test of golf with some holes offering strategic choices. While not a venue known for hosting major professional tournaments or Open Qualifying, it served as a local facility for golfers in the region. Unfortunately, the club ceased operations and closed permanently in September 2020.
