Otley Golf Club
Parkland Course in Otley, England
Nestled in the picturesque Wharfe Valley with the prominent Otley Chevin as a backdrop, Otley Golf Club offers a parkland test with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1906. Designed by Harry Loveridge, the course officially opened for play in 1907. A significant change occurred in the mid-1960s when the clubhouse was relocated to a more central position, leading to a resequencing of the holes. The course is a par 70 and measures around 6200-6300 yards from the back tees, featuring two distinct loops of nine holes. Water comes into play on several holes, with Gill Beck and Mickle Ing Bech streams meandering through the layout, requiring careful shot-making. The club has also served as a venue for qualifying rounds of the Junior European Open.
