Northamptonshire County Golf Club, established in 1910 with an original design by the esteemed Harry Colt, offers a traditional inland golf experience in England. James Braid contributed to the course's evolution with significant bunker changes and the relocation of the 18th green in 1947. The course presents a blend of parkland and heathland characteristics, featuring undulating terrain, mature trees, and areas of gorse and heather. Notably, the club has a history as a regional qualifying venue for The Open Championship, having hosted it between 1997 and 2002, and continues to host national competitions.
