About Newbold Comyn Golf Club
Newbold Comyn Golf Club, situated in Royal Leamington Spa, England, operated as a municipal parkland course from its establishment in 1973 until its closure in late 2017. Set within historic parkland that dates back to the Domesday Book, the 18-hole course was known for its undulating front nine and generally flatter back nine, offering pleasant views of the surrounding area. The layout presented a fair challenge with a par of 71 and was accessible to visiting golfers. As a public facility, its focus was on providing affordable golf rather than hosting major championship events. The club's operations ceased when the managing company breached its contract with the local council.
