Nestled in the Essex countryside near South Ockendon, Mardyke Valley Golf Club offers a parkland test that has evolved over two decades from a modest three-hole practice ground. Designed with input from its members, the course maximizes the potential of its free-draining land and natural features to present a challenging yet enjoyable round year-round. The layout incorporates undulating fairways and strategically placed water hazards. The course is known for its picturesque setting, featuring mature trees and streams leading to the River Mardyke. While not a traditional Open Qualifying venue, the course has hosted county-level events.
