Mannings Heath Golf Club & Wine Estate (Waterfall Course)

Mannings Heath Golf Club, nestled in the picturesque West Sussex countryside, England, is home to the historic Waterfall course. Designed by the esteemed architect Harry Colt and opened in 1914, this par-72 layout presents a compelling blend of heathland, downland, and parkland terrain. Playing across undulating ground, the course requires accuracy, with mature trees and strategic streams influencing play on many holes. Memorable moments await, particularly at the signature par-3 10th, aptly named 'Waterfall', and the challenging 11th, a par four known as 'The Valley', once cited by Gary Player in his collection of ideal holes. A historical note can be found at the 14th hole, marked by a plaque commemorating a WWII bomber crash. While Mannings Heath has hosted significant amateur events, including the English Women's Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship, it has not served as a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
