Long Ashton Golf Club
Parkland Course in Bristol, England
Long Ashton Golf Club, situated near Bristol in England, is a parkland course with a rich history dating back to 1893. Initially a 9-hole layout, it expanded to 18 holes with land acquisition and was significantly remodelled in 1937 by the notable architectural partnership of Fred G. Hawtree and J. H Taylor. While subsequent changes have occurred, the influence of Hawtree and Taylor remains central to the course played today. The course is set within 220 acres of mature wooded parkland, offering varied holes with rolling fairways and well-regarded greens. It provides views of Bristol and the surrounding countryside. Long Ashton Golf Club has been a venue for regional qualifying events for the Brabazon Trophy.
