Letchworth Golf Club (Heritage Course)
Parkland Course in Letchworth Garden City, England
Nestled in the undulating countryside of Hertfordshire, England, Letchworth Golf Club presents a parkland test with a rich history. Originally a nine-hole layout established in 1905, the course was expanded to 18 holes under the guidance of the legendary Harry Vardon, opening in its new form in 1910. While not a regular Open Qualifying venue, the club has seen players participate in Regional Qualifying events. The Heritage Course, known for its firm, fast greens and tree-lined fairways, provides a fair challenge to golfers of all abilities, demanding accuracy over sheer power. Recent enhancements in 2020 have updated the bunkering, adding fresh strategic elements to several holes.
