Opened in 1992 or 1993, the 18-hole parkland course is known for its par of 74 and measures up to 6939 yards from the white tees. It is often described as an 'Inland Links' due to its open layout, which can make wind a significant factor in play. The course features mature woodlands and strategically placed water hazards and ditches that add to the challenge. While not among the most famous courses in the UK, it is considered a firm but fair test for golfers of various abilities.
