Perched on Bradnor Hill in Herefordshire, Kington Golf Club, established in 1926, offers a distinctive inland links experience. Designed by Major Cecil Key Hutchison, who also contributed to Gleneagles, the course is renowned for its natural contours and lack of bunkers, relying on the hilly terrain and strategic design to provide a test of golf. As the highest 18-hole course in England, Kington boasts spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, including the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. The course's firm, fast-running fairways and undulating greens demand precision and creativity.
