Set within the historic Himley Hall parkland in Staffordshire, Himley Hall Golf Centre offers a picturesque and gently undulating parkland course. Established in 1972, the course was laid out on land that was part of the Himley Hall estate, with the parkland itself having been extended in the 1770s by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. The golf course was designed by Alan Baker and was developed on land to the west of a mineral railway line that cut through the park in the early 1900s. Originally a nine-hole course, it is now played with 18 tees providing a par 70 layout over 6216 yards. There is also a nine-hole pitch and putt course on site. While the course is a public pay-and-play facility, it offers a welcoming atmosphere. There is a pro shop and food and drink available at the cafe.
