Tucked away in tranquil parkland just north of London, Hadley Wood Golf Club offers a classic Alister MacKenzie design dating back to 1922. The course, set on land that was once a royal hunting ground, predates MacKenzie's work at Augusta National and features many of his trademark elements, including strategic bunkering and undulating plateau greens. Playing to a par of 72 across 18 holes, the layout measures over 6,500 yards from the back tees and presents a thoughtful challenge requiring a variety of shots. Notably, Hadley Wood served as a venue for Open Championship Regional Qualifying from 2000 to 2005. The club is set around an elegant Georgian clubhouse, adding to the traditional feel of the experience.
