Grange-over-Sands Golf Club, situated on the outskirts of the charming Edwardian town in England, offers a delightful parkland golfing experience with stunning views of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District fells. Established in 1919, the course was designed by the renowned architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie in the 1920s, with many of his original holes still in play. While not a links course despite its proximity to the sea, it provides a fair test with tree-lined fairways, natural water hazards, and undulating greens. The course, measuring just over 6,000 yards from the white tees with a par of 70, is known for being relatively flat, appealing to those who prefer not to combine their golf with hill climbing. Strategic shot placement is key due to several dog-legs and numerous water hazards. The club welcomes visitors throughout the week and hosts a number of open competitions annually.
