Clandon Golf

Nestled in the picturesque Surrey countryside, Clandon Golf offers an accessible and engaging eighteen-hole experience. Established with the front nine opening in 2008 and the back nine in 2009, the course is built on a chalk base, contributing to its excellent drainage and year-round playability. Designed by European Golf Design (Ross McMurray), the layout features undulating greens and strategically placed bunkers, including the environmentally-friendly Sportcrete system. The course also uniquely incorporates a former chalk quarry into four of its holes, adding a distinctive element to the round. While not a traditional members' club from its inception, it now welcomes visitors and offers various membership options, providing a balanced test of golf suitable for a range of abilities amidst a serene English setting. It has not been a venue for Open Championship Qualifying.
