Cherwell Edge Golf Club

Cherwell Edge Golf Club, situated on the Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire border, is a mature 18-hole parkland course established in 1947. Designed by Ken Moodie (Ken Moody), the course spans approximately 6,405 yards and is a par 70 or 71 depending on the tee. The layout incorporates the natural undulating terrain, mature trees, and a scenic river, offering a pleasant yet potentially challenging experience with strategically placed bunkers and water features. While not a widely recognized championship venue or Open Qualifying location, it has hosted events like the Women's Championships and JHB Cup and Shield in the past, and a former junior golfer from Cherwell Edge, Gary Boyd, has qualified for The Open on three occasions.
