Brocket Hall Golf Club (Palmerston)
Parkland Course in Welwyn, England
Opened in 2000, the Palmerston course at Brocket Hall was designed by Donald Steel and Ebert (Martin Ebert). Set within undulating parkland and mature woodland, the course is known for its sweeping fairways and strategically placed bunkers. The design was intended to have minimum intrusion on the natural site. Unlike the other course at Brocket Hall, the River Lea does not feature on the Palmerston, with trees and bunkering providing the main hazards. The course has been recognized as one of the top 100 courses in England. While the club is considered a prestigious venue, visitor play is often linked with membership or stay-and-play packages.
