Brandhall Golf Club
Parkland Course in Oldbury, England
Brandhall Golf Course, situated in Oldbury, England, was a parkland course with a history stretching back to 1903 when land from Brandhall Farm was leased to create a nine-hole layout. It was extended to 18 holes before the First World War, though it reverted to agricultural use during the conflict. The farmhouse was converted into a clubhouse in 1932, later demolished in the 1970s. The course was taken over by the local council in 1944 and operated as a municipal course. Notably, some sources mention H.S. Colt redeveloping the course in 1915 and further reconstruction after WWI. While not a widely recognized championship venue, it served the local golfing community for many years. The course closed in May 2020.
