Alex Hay

Alex Hay is widely known in the golf world, primarily as a respected professional, commentator, and author, rather than a golf course architect. He had a distinguished career as a club professional at prestigious locations like Gleneagles and Wentworth. Hay became a familiar and popular voice in golf broadcasting, notably with the BBC, contributing analysis and commentary on major tournaments. His legacy is centered on his expertise in playing, teaching, and articulating the game, not on designing courses.
