About Llanishen Golf Club

Llanishen Golf Club, established in 1905, is an 18-hole, par 68 parkland course located on the hillside in north Cardiff, Wales. It offers panoramic views of the city, the Bristol Channel, and the Somerset coast line. The course is noted as being challenging for players of all handicaps, featuring a variety of left-to-right and right-to-left shaped holes with small target areas from tee to fairway and fairway to green. Accuracy is at a premium. Following an extensive drainage project, all 18 greens have been drained. The club is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere and was awarded Wales Golf Club of the Year in 2023 and the GCMA Team of the Year in 2019.
