Established in 1923, Ballyclare Golf Club is a mature parkland course nestled in the rolling countryside of County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Designed by Captain Ross, the course is renowned for its tree-lined fairways and strategic use of natural water hazards, with the Islekelly river meandering through the layout and lakes influencing play on several holes. The course presents an engaging challenge, demanding accurate driving and thoughtful course management to navigate its well-placed bunkers and avenues of woodland. A notable hole is the par-4 third, known as "Orpinsmill," which requires a precise tee shot to avoid out-of-bounds and water hazards protecting a tree-lined green. Ballyclare offers an enjoyable test of golf within a picturesque setting.
