Parkland/Clifftop Course in Wicklow, Ireland
Wicklow Golf Club, established in 1904 and extended to 18 holes in 1994 by architects Tom Craddock and Pat Ruddy, is a picturesque parkland/clifftop course located on the outskirts of Wicklow Town, County Wicklow, Ireland. Situated between the Irish Sea and the Wicklow Mountains, the course offers stunning views of Wicklow Bay and the coastline. It is known for its challenging layout, requiring accuracy due to tight holes and tricky greens, with water hazards and bunkering adding to the difficulty. The course is a par 71 and measures just over 6000 yards from the back tees. Visitors are welcome daily and the club offers practice facilities including a putting green. The club also has a pro shop, bar, and restaurant. Lodging is not available on-site.
