The K Club (Palmer North)
Parkland Course in Straffan, Ireland
The Palmer North Course at The K Club is a renowned parkland layout in County Kildare, Ireland, designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and opened in 1991. Carved through mature woodland and incorporating the River Liffey, the course presents a significant challenge with strategic bunkering and water hazards. It gained international prominence by hosting the Ryder Cup in 2006, a memorable event in European golf history. The course has also been a regular venue for the European Open and has hosted the Irish Open multiple times, events which have sometimes formed part of the Open Qualifying Series, offering players a route into The Open Championship.
