Esker Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Ballykilmurray, Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland, approximately 6km northwest of Tullamore town. Designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr and opened in 1996, the course is known for its distinct links feel due to its sandy landscape, superb sand-based greens, and all-year playability. The terrain, shaped by retreating glaciers, features dramatic undulations, valleys, plateaux, natural lakes, and woodlands. It is considered one of Ireland's leading inland golf courses and is the home club of professional golfer Shane Lowry. The course offers a challenging test for golfers of all levels with no two holes being alike. Facilities include a restaurant, locker rooms, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker, buggy hire, pull cart hire, golf club rental, golf lessons, and a pro shop. Visitors are welcome daily but advance booking is essential, and soft spikes are preferred. The course has a par of 71 from the white and blue tees, and a par of 72 from the red tees. The championship length is 6461 yards from the blue tees, 6067 yards from the white tees, 5766 yards from the green tees, and 5063 yards from the red tees.
