Dooks Golf Club, established in 1889, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland and offers a truly traditional links golf experience. Located in Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry, the 18-hole course is set on sand dunes at the head of Dingle Bay, providing panoramic views of the bay, the Dingle Peninsula, and the surrounding mountains, including the MacGillycuddy Reeks. The course, a classic links layout with natural dunes and undulating fairways, was originally designed by various architects and significantly revamped by Eddie Hackett and Martin Hawtree. The club is known for its friendly atmosphere and welcomes visitors. Facilities include a pro shop, restaurant, bar, changing rooms, putting green, chipping area, and options for caddie, golf club, motor cart, and pull cart rental, as well as golf lessons.
