Nestled in 130 acres of mature wooded parkland in Buckinghamshire, The South Buckinghamshire Golf Course offers a public pay-and-play experience with a history stretching back to its origins as the 9-hole Ladies Course of Stoke Poges Golf Club. Originally known as Farnham Park Golf Course, the land was even used for farming during both World Wars before being restored. The current 18-hole parkland layout, which provides a fair test of skill with opportunities for birdies, was developed in 1982, with design input attributed to both Colt and Hawtree. The course features several memorable holes, including the 6th, 10th, 11th, 13th, and 16th, which contribute to its challenging yet rewarding nature. While not a venue for The Open Qualifying, it serves the local golfing community and visitors seeking an enjoyable round in a pleasant setting.
