The Shire London (Masters Course)

The Shire London, located on the outskirts of Barnet in England, is notable as the only golf course in the UK designed by the legendary Seve Ballesteros. Opened in 2007, the course reflects Seve's philosophy with a unique layout consisting of six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s, ensuring no two consecutive holes have the same par. This design, set across 220 acres of Hertfordshire countryside, incorporates a blend of links, parkland, and water features, including over 10,000 mature trees and dramatic water hazards. The signature 18th hole, with its 'S'-shaped lake, provides a challenging and memorable finish. The course has hosted various amateur and professional events, including regional Open Qualifying.
