The Lambourne Golf Club ( Course)

The Lambourne Golf Club, situated in the parkland of Buckinghamshire, England, opened for play in 1991. Designed by the respected architect Donald Steel, the course is set across 180 acres featuring mature trees and several lakes that add both beauty and challenge. The 18-hole, par 72 layout provides a good test of golf with tree-lined fairways and greens that are often well-guarded. Notably, the course is built on a subsoil of chalk and gravel, which is understood to provide excellent drainage, allowing for play throughout the year without frequent trolley bans or temporary greens. While not an Open Championship venue, The Lambourne has been selected on multiple occasions to host qualifying events for the PGA Professional Championship.
