Rowlands Castle Golf Club

Rowlands Castle Golf Club, situated on the fringe of the South Downs National Park in England, traces its origins back to 1902 when it was established on rented farmland. Initially a 9-hole layout, the course was redesigned by the renowned architect Harry Colt in 1922, expanding it to 18 holes. The club has since invested in its infrastructure, including a modern clubhouse and drainage improvements. While not a regular Open Qualifying venue, the club has hosted county-level tournaments and its own prestigious amateur open, the Dupree Challenge Cup, since 1925. The parkland course measures over 6600 yards from the back tees and features tree-lined fairways and subtle undulations, offering a test of strategic play.
