Portsmouth Golf Course (Main Course)
Parkland Course in Portsmouth, England
Portsmouth Golf Course, situated on Portsdown Hill in England, offers a testing hilltop course with views over Portsmouth, Southsea and Langstone Harbour. The club moved to its current location in 1972. Another course, Great Salterns Golf Course, now part of Portsmouth Golf Centre, was opened in 1926 on land reclaimed from the sea. This course was designed by H S Colt. The Portsmouth Open 'Aggregate Cup' has been a qualifying event for the Hampshire Golf Order of Merit.
