Kirkbymoorside Golf Club, established in 1907, is set on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park in England. The 18-hole course presents a blend of parkland and moorland characteristics, offering a challenging round with notably undulating greens and some tight fairways. The layout provides picturesque views of the surrounding countryside, including the moors, Yorkshire Wolds, and Hambleton Hills. Memorable holes include the opening par three played over a road, the elevated 7th, and the challenging 10th, known as the "Widow Maker." While not an Open Championship Qualifying venue, the club has hosted an England Golf 'Race to Woodhall Spa' Area Final. The course has received recognition, being included in Bunkered Magazine's Top 50 UK Courses Under £50 and Golf World's Top 100 GB&I courses under £40. The modern clubhouse, opened in 1998 by Bernard Gallagher, provides a welcoming atmosphere after the round.
