Flixton Golf Club, established in 1893 and relocating to its present parkland setting beside the River Mersey in 1903, offers a traditional golfing experience in Greater Manchester. Early in its history, the layout benefited from input from the renowned George Duncan on the initial holes. The course is known for being an enjoyable, yet potentially challenging, test of accuracy, with mature trees and well-protected greens defining its character. It is a welcoming club that provides a pleasant round for visiting golfers. It has not hosted Open Qualifying.
