Chesterfield Golf Club
Parkland Course in Chesterfield, England
Chesterfield Golf Club, established in 1897, is a parkland course located in Walton, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. The club moved to its current site in 1906, and the original 9-hole layout was expanded to 18 holes before World War II by Tom Williamson. Harry Colt or an associate may have also modified the layout. The course is divided by woodland, with the character of the holes differing on either side. Birdholme Brook influences play on the back nine. The course has hosted the Midland Amateur Championships and the English Schools Championships.
