Blackley Golf Club, situated in England, traces its origins back to 1907, although the club moved to its current parkland site in 1937. The layout has evolved over time; while T.G. Renouf was involved in the design of an earlier 18-hole iteration in the 1920s, significant redesign work, including landscaping incorporating water features by Gaunt & Marnoch (Steve Marnoch), was necessary following the construction of the M60 motorway in the early 1990s. The course presents a test that emphasizes accuracy and strategic course management, featuring several water hazards and approaches to tight greens.
