Wrigglesworth

John 'Jack' Wrigglesworth was a respected, albeit less widely known, golf course architect active primarily in the mid-20th century. He specialized in integrating courses seamlessly into the existing natural terrain, often emphasizing strategic bunkering and challenging green complexes that demanded thoughtful shot-making rather than brute force. His designs are celebrated for their timeless character and preservation of the landscape's original beauty.
