W.J. Leaver

W.J. Leaver was a significant early 20th-century golf course architect, primarily recognized for his work in British Columbia, Canada. He played a key role in designing or influencing the layouts of several notable courses in the region, including Marine Drive Golf Club, Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club (original design), and contributing to Victoria Golf Club and Capilano Golf & Country Club (with Stanley Thompson). Leaver's contributions were instrumental in the development of golf in Western Canada during its formative years.
