W.H. Goldsmith Designed Golf Courses

W.H. Goldsmith was an American golf course architect active in the early 20th century, often recognized for his collaborations, most prominently with Walter J. Travis. He played a key role in the design or modification of several notable courses, including Garden City Country Club and the West Course at Westchester Country Club, often acting as the on-site representative for their projects. Goldsmith also contributed to other courses such as Spring Lake Golf Club, sometimes independently or with other partners, leaving his mark on the development of golf course architecture, particularly in the Northeastern United States.
