Major Benson

As there is no widely known historical figure named 'Major Benson' recognized as a golf course architect, it's difficult to provide a factual summary. However, hypothetically, a figure like Major Reginald Benson might be imagined as a British military officer transitioning to design in the mid-20th century, potentially known for traditional, strategic layouts utilizing natural terrain and classical Golden Age principles.
