Leonard Fisher

Leonard Fisher was a prominent British golf course architect, known for his work with the firm Fisher, Cornish & Thorne (later Fisher, Thorne & Thorne). Specializing in both new designs and significant renovations, he is particularly noted for his sensitive updates to classic UK heathland and parkland courses, such as renovation projects at Woburn (Duchess and Marquess), Sunningdale (New Course), and The Berkshire. His approach often focused on preserving the original character and strategic intent of historic layouts.
