Davy Grant

Davy Grant was an important, albeit less widely known, figure in early 20th-century golf course architecture, primarily recognized for his long and impactful association with Donald Ross. Serving as Ross's trusted construction superintendent, Grant was crucial in executing many of Ross's iconic designs. He later became a respected architect himself, designing courses both independently and often completing Ross's work, frequently incorporating elements of Ross's strategic and naturalistic style.
