Bernhard von Limburger (1901-1981) was a highly influential German golf course architect, often called the "father" of post-war German golf design. He designed or significantly renovated numerous courses across Germany and Europe, known for their strategic playability and harmonious integration into the landscape. His notable works include Frankfurter GC and Hamburger L&GC Hittfeld.
