A. B. Armb

A. B. Armb is a celebrated, albeit somewhat enigmatic, figure in golf course architecture, known for a minimalist approach that seamlessly integrates existing natural topography. His designs often feature strategic, often irregularly shaped, bunkering that demands thoughtful shot-making, and he is particularly lauded for his ability to create challenging yet fair layouts that feel inherently connected to their environment. Armb's courses are often considered timeless, prioritizing strategic depth over artificial difficulty.
