Dundonald Links, Ayrshire – A Modern Classic on Scotland’s West Coast
Dundonald Links is a standout among Scotland’s new generation of championship courses. Set against the rugged backdrop of the Ayrshire coastline, it combines traditional links character with modern design and first-class facilities. This is a destination for golfers who want more than just a great round — it’s a full experience from the first tee to the last dram.

The Golf
Designed by Kyle Phillips, the architect behind Kingsbarns, Dundonald Links delivers a true links test with wide fairways, strategic bunkering, and greens that demand creativity. It’s hosted the Scottish Open, Final Qualifying for The Open, and the Women’s Scottish Open — and continues to attract golfers from across the globe.
The course is playable year-round, with excellent drainage and multiple tee positions to suit all levels. Your package includes reserved tee times, and we can build in additional features like team formats, mobile scoring, or warm-up sessions on the range.

The Accommodation
Your lodge boasts two bright and luxurious bedroom suites, each with its own modern en-suite bathroom. Each king size bed has the capacity to be transformed into two single beds to create a twin bedroom for your convenience.
Each bedroom suite has been carefully designed both to reflect different elements of the Scottish landscape, and incorporate the rich legacy of the sport. At Dundonald Links, our architects have infused this classic foundation with a new life. This signature style can be found in your french doors, flooding the bedroom with soft natural light.

All accommodation includes access to the resort’s wellness suite with sauna, steam room and gym, as well as a full cooked breakfast each morning.

The Experience
The recently upgraded clubhouse includes a stunning bar and restaurant with views across the course. Dining is casual but refined, with a focus on local produce and relaxed post-round atmosphere.
With Golf Sherpa, you can also customise your trip with extras like whisky tastings, local dining reservations, branded team merchandise, or Ryder Cup-style setups with printed scorecards and digital leaderboards.
