The Machrie Golf Links is an iconic 18-hole championship links course located in Port Ellen on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. Originally designed by Willie Campbell in 1891 and modernised by David J Russell (DJ Russell), the par-72 course stretches to over 7000 yards from the back tees. Situated on unique dunelands bordering Laggan Bay, it offers stunning views and a challenging test of traditional links golf. The facility includes a hotel with lodging, a restaurant, pro shop, driving range, putting green, chipping green, club rental, lessons, caddie hire, pull carts, motor carts, and locker rooms. Visitors are welcome but advance booking is essential.
