Tipperary Golf Club
Parkland Course in Tipperary Town, Northern Ireland
Tipperary Golf Club, established in 1896, stands as one of Ireland's older golfing institutions, having moved through several locations before settling at its current Rathanny site in 1939. The course, initially smaller, was extended to a full 18 holes in 1994, offering a mature parkland test. Set against the backdrop of the Galtee Mountains, the layout provides a challenging yet enjoyable experience with varied holes that demand thoughtful shot-making. The club has played a role in the amateur golf calendar, hosting the Irish Men's Mid-Amateur Open Championship in 2024.
