Swords Open Golf Club
Parkland Course in Swords, Northern Ireland
Swords Open Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland course located in Swords, County Dublin, Ireland, on the relatively flat terrain along the banks of the Broadmeadow River. The course was designed by Tommy Halpin and was extended to 18 holes in 1996, with further alterations in 2003. It is part of the Roganstown Hotel & Country Club complex and shares facilities with the Roganstown Golf Course. The naturally occurring water from the river has been strategically incorporated into the course design with water hazards and features. The course is known for being well-maintained and playable year-round. Facilities include a putting/chipping green and practice nets. Swords Open Golf Course has hosted the Irish PGA Southern Championship multiple times.
