Palmerstown Stud Golf Club
Parkland Course in Johnstown, Northern Ireland
Situated on a former stud farm in County Kildare, this Christy O'Connor Jnr design opened in 2005, offering a parkland test that makes good use of its natural surroundings. Water is a prominent feature across the layout, influencing play on numerous holes, complemented by extensive bunkering, including some distinctly shaped traps. The course gained early recognition by hosting the Irish Region Championship in 2005 and the Irish Seniors Championship in 2007, and previously served as the headquarters for the Irish PGA. Playing over 7,500 yards from the back tees, the course provides a comprehensive examination of a golfer's game, while also offering shorter teeing options.
