Nuremore Golf Course, part of the Nuremore Hotel & Country Club, is an 18-hole parkland course located in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan. Originally established in 1964, the current 18-hole championship course, designed by Eddie Hackett, was opened in 1991. The picturesque par 71 course is known for making superb use of the surrounding lakes and landscape and presents a challenging test for golfers of all levels. Visitors are welcome to play the course. The facility also offers lodging on site, a pro shop, putting green, motor and pull cart rentals, golf club rentals, and golf lessons, as well as a restaurant, changing room, and leisure facilities including a swimming pool, whirlpool, steam room, sauna and gymnasium.
