Muskerry Golf Club
Parkland Course in Carrigrohane, Northern Ireland
Nestled in County Cork, Muskerry Golf Club offers a parkland golf experience shaped in part by the Golden Age architect Alister Alister MacKenzie. Founded in 1907, the course evolved over the years, with MacKenzie providing guidance for its extension to eighteen holes in the 1920s. The layout features interesting holes that interact with the meandering River Shournagh. While the course itself hasn't hosted The Open Qualifying, the club is notable as the golfing home of James Bruen, a celebrated amateur who led Open qualifying elsewhere. Muskerry provides a solid test of golf amidst pleasant surroundings.
